CODY SESTRICH Obituary
Cody James Sestrich, 19, of Liberty, Mo., passed away unexpectedly January 14, 2016. Cody was born Feb. 26, 1996, in Joplin, Mo., to Jimmy Sestrich and Jennifer Decker. He graduated from Olathe NW High School in 2014 and had plans to join the Marines. He was an avid lover of all things sports and he loved life. He loved his family even more. Cody is preceded in death by his grandpa, Robert James Sestrich. Those left to cherish his memory include parents, James Lee (Kristina) Sestrich and Jennifer (Mike) Decker Mitchell, sisters, Victoria Jane Sestrich and Lauren Fayth Mitchell, grandparents, Richard and Janie Decker, Sharon Ann Sestrich, Kathy and Dennis Pruitt, great grandparents, Marguerite Woods, Salvatore and Teresa Mentesana and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Terrace Park Funeral Home, 801 NW 108th St. (169 Hwy. & Shoal Creek), Kansas City, Mo. Service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Private burial in Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cody's memory to a charity of your choosing.
