The manor called ‘le Coppedehalle’ (extent given), with the advowson of the church there, excepting 55a. land, held of the king as of the honour of Clare now in the king’s hand by the forfeiture of Roger Damory and Elizabeth his wife, by service of 1/2 knight’s fee; 5a. of the aforesaid 55a., held of John Seborgh by service of 12d. yearly; and 50a. the residue, held of the prior of St. Botolph’s by service of 2s. yearly.

The manor (extent given), with the advowson of the free chapel of Burle, held of the archbishop of Canterbury by homage, and service of 1/2 knight’s fee, and suit at the court of Canterbury; 140a. arable and 40a. pasture, held of Stephen de Romene by service of 72s. yearly rent, and suit of court; 18a. pasture held of the abbot of Battle (de Bello) by service of 5s. 3d. yearly rent, and suit of court; and 9a. pasture and 5a. pasture, held of the prior of Bilsyngton by service of 2s. 7 1/2d. yearly rent, and suit of court.
