Biography

Abigail Severance was born in New Ipswich, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire Colony, perhaps about 1855. ^[2] She was the daughter of Ephraim Severance and Abigail Trask.^[2]

In about 1768, her parents and siblings moved to the township of Camden, in Cheshire County, New Hampshire Colony, where they were among Camden's initial settlers.^[3]

She married Paul Hale in or about 1775, though the only known evidence of that is the 1775-1776 birth record of their daughter (and only known child), Anna, which refers to Abigail and Paul as her parents.^[4]

When she was about age 40, Abigail married a widower, Charles Brown, in Washington, where they both resided, 18 Jun 1795.^[5] She died in the eastern part of Washington.^[6]
