Solomon was born about 1810 in Harrison Twp, Jackson County, OH. Solomon was the son of Seymour-2792 and Salts-28

On 21 Jun 1831 in Ross County, Ohio he married Margaret Kness. (Variations of the Kness surname on various records include NIECE, NEECE, NEESE, NEASE, KNEESE, KNIESS, REESE, and DEASE.)
