Biography

Lydia Sheffield was born in 1759. She was the daughter of Isaac Sheffield and Freelove Pendleton. ^[1]

Lydia Sheffield married Zebulon Hancox, the son of Edward Hancox and Lucy, on 25 May 1777 in Stonington, Connecticut. ^[2]

Lydia and her husband Zebulon Hancox were listed in her father Isaac's will on 15 Mar 1799 in Stonington. ^[3]

Zebulon Hancox and Lydia Sheffield had the following children:

1. Lydia Hancox9 was born on 14 Nov 1777; died on 28 Dec 1805 at the age of 28. ^[4]
