Biography

Mary Matilda ("Mamie") Shields was born 30 December 1850^[1][2] in New York City to Charles Shields and Mary M. Smith.^[3]

Mary married Robert Wild Todd, son of Henry and Elizabeth (Schee) Todd on 14 December 1871 in New York.^[3]

They had two children, Charles Shields Todd, who died in infancy,^[4] and Mabel Todd, born January 1876^[5][6] who d.s.p. 7 Jul 1903 in Manhattan.^[7][8]

Mary died 11 February 1913,^[1][9] and Robert died 26 February 1921,^[10][11] both in Manhattan.
