Mary Matilda ("Mamie") Shields was born 30 December 1850[1][2] in New York City to Charles Shields and Mary M. Smith.[3]
Mary married Robert Wild Todd, son of Henry and Elizabeth (Schee) Todd on 14 December 1871 in New York.[3]
They had two children, Charles Shields Todd, who died in infancy,[4] and Mabel Todd, born January 1876[5][6] who d.s.p. 7 Jul 1903 in Manhattan.[7][8]
Mary died 11 February 1913,[1][9] and Robert died 26 February 1921,[10][11] both in Manhattan.
