Biography

Leslie was the son of Colley Adrian Shipper and Amanda Jane Everhart. He was raised by his step-grandfather, William T. Hedges, and grandmother, Betty Snyder. On many records his last name is "Hedges." Leslie passed away in 1953 from gastric carcinoma.^[1]
