Jeremiah was born in 1812. He is the son of John B. Showalter and Elizabeth Roth. He married Margaret Bowman in 1841. [1] In 1850 they are enumerated on the federal census in Rockingham County, Virginia. [2] In 1870 they are enumerated on the federal census in Rockingham county, Virginia. [3]
