Biography

When Lottye Shultz was born on 2 Dec 1898 in Prentiss, Kentucky, her father, Williamson Leslie Shultz, was 27 and her mother, Anna Margaret Stum Shultz, was 20. In 1900 she lived with her parents.^[1] In 1910 she and her parents were living with her grandfather.^[2]

In January 1917 it is not clear where she resided, it was not with her parents.^[3] but in June she married Byron Smith.^[4][5]

In 1920^[6] and 1930^[7] she and her husband lived in Ohio County, Kentucky. By 1940 they had relocated to Louisville, Kentucky.^[8] They continued to live in Louisville in 1946,^[9] 1949,^[10] 1965,^[11], and 1989 (the cited United States Public Record apparently was not recorded until after her death).^[12]

She died on 26 Nov 1988 in Louisville, Kentucky.^[13][14]
