WEDDING (2) REPORT. Quiet Wedding At Scots Church. A wedding; of interest to country people was celebrated quietly at Scots Church, Collins Street, last week, when Mrs Phyllis Mary Eckford, Merrimu, Point Lonsdale, became the wife of Mr Clive Prell Fairbairn, Woomargama, Albury. MRS ROWLAND HOPE, Geelong, attended Mrs Eckford, who wore a deep green ensemble of fine angora. Her hat was of raisin brown antelope softened by a matching veil and matched her accessories, and she wore a spray of orchids and lilies-of-the-valley and a string of pearls given by her husband as a wedding present. She was given away by her brother, Lieutenant D. Shuter. Mr Tony Fairbairn acted as best man for his father. After the ceremony relatives and close friends were entertained at a cocktail party at Menzies Hotel. Sir George and Lady Fairbairn, and Mrs M. S. Shuter were among those present.
