Keziah was born in Wilkes County, Georgia in 1784. Her father was John Simmons and her mother was Rebecca. The maiden name of her mother is not known. Rebecca was from Scotland. The father of Keziah was a veteran soldier of the Revolutionary War. He had moved from North Carolina to the Ceded Lands of Georgia about 1778. Keziah's mother died of fever in 1793. John Simmons the father of Keziah died in 1797 on his plantation in Lincoln County, Georgia.

Keziah was named in a deed record in Wilkes County, Georgia in which her father deeded land to his 8 children. Keziah's father had 650 acres in Wilkes County that he received as a Headright Grant.[1] In that grant the land is described as bounded Northwest by Walters land, Southwestwardly Thomas Mitchells Southeastwardly by Vacant land and Northeastwardly by Stern Simmons

He also had 287/1/2 acres in Hancock County, Georgia formerly Washington County that he had obtained as a Bounty Grant for his services as soldier of the Revolutionary War. Keziah received her portion from each of these acres of land.

In 1801 Keziah and her siblings with the exception of her brother, Elijah, deeded their portions of the 650 acres to William and Felix Gilbert of Wilkes County.

Keziah's brother, Elijah, deeded his portion of the 650 acres to William and Felix Gilbert in August of 1802. He had moved to Washington County in the Mississippi Territory.

Keziah was married to Reuben Westmoreland in Mississippi Territory in 1805. She was the second wife of Reuben.

She and Reuben moved back to Georgia. They were living in Jasper County in 1820 and in Pike County in 1830. By 1840 She and Reuben had moved again and were living in Coweta County. Reuben died in Coweta County in 1845.

Keziah was living in Campbell County in 1860. Her daughter Angelina had married William D. TIdwell. Keziah was living with them.

Simmons-13470 and Simmons-12329 appear to represent the same person because: They seem to be the same person. However you seem to have found a loty more info than I have.
