Biography
Lydia was born in 1736. She was the daughter of Joshua Simmons and Elizabeth Dillingham. [1]
Lydia married Benjamin Baily on 13 June 1793 in Hanover, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States.[2]
Lydia's father Joshua wrote his will in 1797, and she is listed as Lydia Bailey.
She passed away in 1805.[3]

In 1808, Ebenezer Simmons of Hanover was appointed guardian of her sons, Joshua Bailey, and Benjamin Bailey, minors under the age of 14 years. Their father was Benjamin Bailey of the Island of Nantucket, Baker.[4]
