Mary (Simmons) Attree was born in Newick, Sussex, England.

Mary Simmons was born about 1725 in Newick, Sussex, England ^[1].

She married Thomas Attree on September 23, 1745 at Church of the Good Shephered, Lullington, Sussex.^[2][3]. Together they had 4 children:

1. Jesse Attree,
2. Sarah Attree,
3. Thomas Attree,
4. Sarah Attree.

She died about 1769 in Newick, Sussex, England ^[4] and was buried on 28 August in Newick, Sussex ^[5].

Research note

Alternative death: She died on 24 April 1764 at Withyham, Sussex, England ^[6].

The suggested death is more likely than the alternative death as it is in the same place as the baptism of her children.

The alternative burial in 1764 is for Mary Simmonds rather than Simmons which was Mary's maiden name and so needs checking. Anyway after her marriage she would have been Mary Attree.
