Biography

Born on 1 Jun 1820 in New York. William H. died in Morrice, Shiawassee County, Michigan, on 12 Mar 1894; he was 73. Buried in Roselawn Cemetery, Perry, MI. Occupation: Carpenter & farmer.

(It has been suggested that William was a son of John and Eunce (Robinson) Simons, but that is not so as William was not named in John's will. That will was dated 8 Nov 1832, filed 3 Mar 1838, and named wife Eunice, chidren Mehitable Westover, Solomon P. Simons, Simeon Simons, Sidney B. Simons, Lucy Simons, Seth R. Simons, Eunice A. Simons, and John Simons. In the 1850s son Simeon Simons was living in Atlas Township, Genesee Co.)
