Florence Etta Simpson was born 12 Sept 1909, Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of James Moses Simpson and Dollie Lorene Daughtry.

Sources indicate that Florence married first a "Unknown" Williams, as the birth/death certificate of her first child with Herbert shows her surname as Williams. It is unknown at this time what the outcome of that marriage was.

Florence married second Herbert Stanley Aadland in 1940, Los Angeles, California. Herbert, son of Olaf Aadland and Franziska Ann Brendel, was born 21 Sept 1914, Sisseton, Roberts, South Dakota.
