Jennie S Sinclair was born in October 15, 1878 in Manhattan, New York, New York. She is a daughter of Napoleon Sinclair and Elizabeth Hall.^[1] in 1880, the family lived in Brooklyn, Kings, New York.^[2] In 1905, she lived with her step mother and sister in Brooklyn, Kings, New York.^[3]

Jennie married Edgar S Buchanan on February 18, 1918 in Manhattan, New York, New York.^[4] They lived in Manhattan, New York, New York in 1930.^[5] By 1940, she was a widowed music teacher living in Mount Kisco, Bedford Town, Westchester, New York.^[6]

Jennie died on February 26, 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^[7]
