A mystery.
The name is unclear, it could be read in census as Cerie, Carie or Canie, single (unmarried) female aged 18, born Alabama in 1930 census, appeaing to be the youngest daughter of William and Jennie Slatton, living with her remarried mother and stepfather, presumably after the death of her father or divorce. [1]
But, in 1920 census, there is no female at this approximate age position. [2]
This is clearly a "blended" Dandy and Slatton family, but "Cenie" is not explicable with only a single census records.
