Notes taken from a remembrance thought by Enid O'Brien to be by Helena Morry and now in the Morry Papers at PANL: "Grandmother Windsor's Grandmother or Great Grandmother was Miriam, Sister of Sir Hans Sloan, founder of the British Museum. She had twenty children.". 1
This relationship is purely apocryphal. I can find no evidence to support it and plenty that disproves it. I have seen several family histories of Hans Sloan(e), none of which show that he had a sister Miriam. Moreover, her apparent birth year and age are a generation out of phase to be the sister of Hans. 1
I now believe that it was just as suspect and probably as false as the information on the royal parentage of Mary Graham. 1

Nevertheless I included the information on Hans Sloan and his family but have severed Miriam from it for now until it is positively disproven that she was related to them. At that time I will remove entirely the information on Hans Sloan and his family. 1
