His final home would be at 1144 S. Main Carthage, Missouri[2]
Death
He died of coronary insufficency on the 5th of September, 1953[10] in Carthage, Missouri[2] and he woud be buried in the Monnett Ioof Cemetery[11]
Funeral services for Elmer Smedley, 69 year old retired Carthage postal clerk died Saturday night at home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. ?? at the Buchanan Chapel in ?? with Rev. R.L. W?? offiiating. Burial will be in ?? Fellows Cemetery with ?? rites at graveside.
