Adaline Agnes Lockhart Smith was born in 1851 in Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera, Bahamas to Robert Smith and Georgiana Jamieson.
She married Ernest Marshall Sweeting, son of John Henry Sweeting and Georgiana Saunders Sweeting, 5 January 1902, at the home of Georgiana Smith in Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. They had no children.
Adaline Agnes Lockhart "Addie" Smith died 25 June 1929 in Nassau, Bahamas at 78 years of age.
