Elizabeth "Betty" Smith was born in Jan 1874 in Eagle Mills Township, Iredell County, North Carolina, USA. Her parents were William K. H. Smith and Mary Ann M. Hayes of Eagle Mills Township. She married John David Sharpe in Iredell County, North Carolina on Aug 3, 1892. She died on Sep 28, 1955 in San Francisco, San Francisco County, California, USA. She is buried in a cemetery in San Francisco, California, probably a Masonic Cemetery with her husband.^[1]

John and Bettie Sharpe had two children.
