Biography

Daughter of Thomas Smith and Cynthia Berry White. Third wife of the law professor and author Nathaniel Beverly Tucker whom she married on April 13 1830 at Experiment. Her parents were opposed to the marriage, and sat in the kitchen during the ceremony.
