Mary was born in 1786. Her father was Michael Smithson. She was christened on 15 October 1786 at Otley, Yorkshire[1]

Mary married Stephen Kay on 24 August 1807 at Pannal, Yorkshire.[2][3]

She passed away in 1863. [4] She was buried on 11 November 1863 at Leathley, Yorkshire[5]
