They made their home in Pulaski county, Kentucky where he was engaged in Farming in 1850, They had John-9, Sarah-8 Elizabeth-3, and William-age 2 in the home at the time.[3] They were still living in Pulaski County, Kentucky in 1860 with the children, and his Father Charles age 99 in the home.[4] In 1870 they were living in Harison Twp., Pulsaski County Kentucky near the Waterloo Post Office, where he (65) was farming and Matilda-56 their daughter Elizabeth J-22 and a Nancy L Lester age 4 were in the home.[5]
