Biography
John was born in 1878.
He was in the armed services between 07 June 1899 thru 24 June 1902.[1] He registered for the draft in WWI on 12 September 1918, when he was 40 years old. He lists his occupation as farmer, and they describe him as tall, medium build, with blue eyes and dark hair.[2]
In the 1930 census John (age 52), Farmer, was the married head of household in Crouch, Hamilton County, Illinois, United States.[3]
In the 1950 census (enumerated 16 April 1950) John (age 72) was the married head of household in Springerton, White County, Illinois, United States.[4]
His obituary was on page 2 in the Mt. Vernon Register-News on 27 April 1956 in Mt Vernon, Illinois.[5]
