Young James Snow died before his younger brother, James Snow, was born on May 28, 1742, also in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts. James Snow was a half brother as he was the child of James Snow Sr.'s 2nd wife, Hannah (Hovey) Snow. Ruth (Shaw) Snow died in 1736 and James Snow Sr. remarried to Hannah Hovey, on August 6, 1741 in Weymouth, Massachusetts Bay Province, New England.[2]
