Biography
Cordelia, who went by Fern, was born in 1928 in Haynesville, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Sidney Snow and Naomi Braselton. In 1930, the family was living in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.[1] They were still there in 1940.[2]
She married David "Bill" Leroy Owens. The couple had three children, Wayne, David and Dottie. They lived in Haynesville, Louisiana, at least from 1959 through 2008.[3]
Fern passed away in 2012 in California.[4] She had moved in with her daughter, Dottie, out in California in 2009. Burial was in the Old Town Cemetery in Haynesville, Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.[5] She shares a grave marker with her husband.
