Elisha Soper was born on 20 Jul 1793 in Orland, Hancock, Massachusetts, United States, son of Justus Sanford Soper (1760 - 1851) and Elizabeth (Viles) Soper (1765 - 1850).

Elisha (24) married Ann Steele (23) , daughter of Andrew Steele and Deborah Dolliver, on 24 Nov 1817 in Orland.

Elisha died on 19 Jun 1871 in Orland aged 77. He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Orland.
