Josephine Domithilde Lorraine (Souliere) Cannel was born on August 16, 1855 in St. Andre, Argentuill, Quebec. Her parents were Francois Souliere (1822 - ~1923) and Henriette (Rocbrune dit Larocque) Souliere (~1839 - 1919).

Beverly Souliere
Domathilde Lorraine Souliere is my great-grandmother. She was pregnant with Joseph Nelson DOB Jan 27, 1880 when she separated from her first husband Joseph Cannel. She subsequently moved in with her parents Francois Souliere and Henriette Rocbrune dit Larocque (Souliere). When Joseph Nelson was born, she left him with her parents, who raised him as their own, and baptized him with the last name Souliere rather than his father's name of Cannel.

She then married John Lance November 20, 1886
