James Baum was born in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, 7 February 1799.[1][2][3] He died Washington Township, Porter County, Indiana, 6 April 1884.[4] James was the son of John and Catherine (Randolph) Baum.[5]

Rebecca Miller was born in Pennsylvania, 12 January 1803.[6] She died Porter County, Indiana, 20 December 1887.[7] Rebecca was. the daughter of Peter Miller (1779-1845) and his first wife, Rosanna Kimmerling (1781-1813).

  4. Enoch Baum, born Ohio, 14 April 1830,[17] died[18] 30 January 1895;[19] married Eliza Peoples
