Jordan Crossing Section of Lindenwood Cemetery

Section 14 of Lindenwood, known as "Jordan Crossing", is a historically Black section of the cemetery. It has a historic marker[1] whose text begins:

14 Jordan Crossing ...until we cross the Jordan into the land the Lord our God is giving us...Deuteronomy 2:29 Be it known to all who walk upon these grounds that "Section 14" of Lindenwood Cemetery is commemorated as a "Historical Burial Site" and final resting place of our African American Ancestors, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
