Research Notes

• Some of these enslaved people appear in the 1837 will of Hubbard's son, Simeon Cozart who died before 8 Feb 1838 in Granville County. Some appear in the records of Hubbard's son, Allen W Cozart who died 7 Jul 1861 in Granville County, without a will. See also Slaves of Allen W Cozart.
