Charles Franklin Spaide was born in Dorrance Township, Luzerne, Pennsylvania on 25 Aug 1880. He was the son of Milton Spaide and Catherine Eroh. He was a general store manager. He married Hannah Engler on 5 June 1907 in Luzerne, Pennsylvania. James F. Beates performed the wedding ceremony.[1] The couple raised three sons:
Charles died in Mountain Top, Fairview Township, Luzerne, Pennsylvania on 1 Nov 1968. On 4 Nov 1968 he was buried at Emmanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery, Dorrance Township, Luzerne, Pennsylvania.[2]
