Sarah was born in 1839. She is the daughter of James Spicer and Mary Price.
There is no trace of her in the 1851 Census, where her brothers and sisters are listed with their parents, but she married William Alexander Slater Royds on the 15th October 1574 in Wooburn. Note that the civil registration was done in Reading (separate record).
Her sister Mary lived with her for some years (Sarah's son George Freeman was an executor of Mary's will).
She died in 1922 in Bromley, Kent.
Another Sarah Ann Spicer married in Wooburn in 1869. She was from a totally different Spicer family according to the Wooburn parish register.
