Janet married Alexander Calder on or after 16 December 1831 in Auldearn, Nairnshire, Scotland.[2]
Janet died in 1895 at age 89 and was buried in Springville, Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada. She is buried at Springville cemetery.[3]
