Biography

Édouard St-Pierre was born on 9 Jan 1824 and baptized the 11th in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges parish of Trois-Pistoles, Bas-Canada. He was the son of Rémi St-Pierre, woodworker of L'Isle-Verte, and Cécile Lévesque.[1] Sponsors for Édouard's baptism were Hubert Lévesque and Susanne Côté; neither sponsor signed the marriage record.

Marriage
He married Éléonore Laplante, daughter of Jean Baptiste Laplante and Hélène Lévesque, on 24 Jun 1845 in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges parish of Trois-Pistoles, Bas-Canada.[2]Éléonore passed away on 22 May 1855 in Trois-Pistoles.

2nd Marriage
Édouard St-Pierre, widower of Éléonore Laplante, married Adeline Malenfant [sic], daughter of Jean Baptiste Malenfant and Angèle Marin, on 5 Nov 1855 in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges parish of Trois-Pistoles.[3]Marie Delina passed away on 10 Aug 1862 in Trois-Pistoles.

3rd Marriage
Édouard St-Pierre, widower of Marie Delina Malenfant, married Désanges Bélanger, daughter of Frédéric Bélanger and the late Désanges Bélanger, on 5 May 1863 in Saint-Simon.[4]There was one known child born into this marriage. Désanges died at age 31 on DATE?

Édouard passed away in 1884.

Édouard St-Pierre (fils de Rémi (Jérémie) et Cécile Lévesque) et Désanges Bélanger (fille de Frédéric et Marie-des-Anges Bernier) ont signés un contrat de mariage devant le notaire Antoine Bernier de Rimouski le 4 mai 1863, soit la veille de leur mariage religieux. (Source: BMS2000)
