Margaret Anne Stackhouse was born about 9 Dec 1858 in Bloomfield, Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of Thomas Stackhouse (~1822–1865) and Barbara Scovil (~1828–1917).
Margaret had a brother, Wesley Thomas Stackhouse (1865–1939).
Margaret married Alexander Reid (born on 22 Feb 1852 in New Brunswick; son of James Andrew Reid and Elizabeth Jenkinson). Their known daughter was Bertha Crawford Reid (1894–~1961).
