Wesley Stackhouse was born in New Brunswick, Canada.

Wesley Thomas Stackhouse was born in 1865, the youngest of 6 children born to Thomas Stackhouse and Barbara Scovil.

Wesley served as pastor of First Baptist Church, Vancouver, British Columbia starting on June 26, 1896, and ending in 1899, when he moved to Rossland.[1][2]

Rev. Dr. W. T. Stackhouse is “one of the leaders” of a national Baptist layman’s missionary campaign. He “is traveling across the country presenting its claims and obtaining marvelous successes.” He tells his audience at a First Baptist Church banquet that he has spoken to at least 42,000 men during his tour.[3]
