Biography
George William, father of Sarah Ann, was born around 1850. His birth was registered in the first quarter in 1850 in Hayfield, Derbyshire, England. His mother died young (when William was about 4), and his father remarried. William had a younger half-sister, Sarah Ann.
Census records from England every 10 years from 1851 to 1911 show that William spent his life in and around Derbyshire and Lancashire. He married Hannah Elizabeth Mahoney and had 10 children.
His death was registered in the third quarter of 1915 in Chorlton, Manchester, England.
