Biography
Susan is named as the wife of Henry Measell in an an 1884 Frederick County, Maryland equity court case over her father David Levi Staley's estate.[1]
According to probate records, Susan died intestate in Prince George's County, Maryland on 3 December 1933. The records name three surviving children of Susan:[2]

Mattie R. Day, widowed
Susan's middle name is given on the undertaker's bill from her funeral.[3]
