Biography

Clarence was born in 1882. He died in 1958. He is the son of James Stansberry and Margaret Lane.

Story

This story was from a 1976 publication about Moulton Iowa and entitled The Stansberry Story. I have retyped the information from this article. "Clarence Harlan Stansberry was the third generation of his family to live in Moulton. He was preceded by his father, James Norman Stansberry, and his grandfather, Moses Stansberry. Clarence was born on March 15, 1882 in Moulton. He was both a carpenter and farmer. He married Ollie May Stober, the daughter of William and Samantha Horn Stober, on Feb 27, 1901 and they had five children: Velma, Lucille, Zelda, Romaine and Fred Stansberry. All except for Velma are still living. Velma (Stansberry) Rave died in 1958 in Orange City, Iowa. Clarence preceded Velma in death by only a few short months in 1958. His wife, Ollie, followed him to the grave ten years later when she passed away in 1968 in Centerville."
