Ann Stanton was born about 1672 in the parish of St. Mary Aldermanbury in the City of London, England. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Stanton and Grace Stare. Her mother lists her as the first of her children in her will.[1]
On October 24, 1683 Ann made a marriage allegation with Jonathan Clark, of the parish of St. Lawrence Jewry, also in the City of London.[2]

We know that the marriage went ahead as her mother lists her as Ann Clark in 1714.
