Biography

John Jacob Stout was born in 1710.^[1][2][3]

He immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1737^[1][2] from Hesse-Darmstadt.^[1]

He was a farmer and a potter.^[1][2]

He filed claim to several large land patent grants in an eastern Pennsylvania valley that later bore his name. His claims were among some of the 1st in Stout's Valley.^[2]

He also had substantial holdings in Perkasie, where his pottery was located.^[2]

He had children. 4 children lived until at least 1783:^[1]

He lived in Rockhill Township, Bucks, Pennsylvania.^[1]
