Biography

Charles Edgar Stearns was born in Amoskeag, New Hampshire on 17 Aug 1855. ^[1]He was the son of Thomas Stearns and Ruth Page. He married Anna M. Nichols on 29 Sep 1881. Mr. Stearns made his living as a tool maker with the Amoskeag Axe Company from 1870 to 1879. In 1885, he went into the wholesale and retail dairy business. His hobby was playing the coronet. He passed away in 1929. He is buried in Amoskeag Cemetery in Manchester, New Hampshire with his wife and daughter Amy.
