Biography

James Gesner Steeves was born on 14 Mar 1850 in New Brunswick, son of Elisha Samuel Steeves (1826–1911) and Rebecca Rogers (1826–1903).

In 1871, Gesner (21) J Steves was in the household of Elisha Steves in Hillsborough, Albert, New Brunswick. [1]

In 1881, James G (31) was living in Hillsborough, Albert. [2]

Gesner died on 20 May 1895 in New Brunswick, Canada, aged 45.[3] He was buried in Baltimore United Baptist Cemetery, Baltimore, New Brunswick.
