I’m working on my great grandparent’s -WJT Stephens and Clifford C Henderson- genealogies. I will have to dig through my records later, but I do not believe they were married in Texas. My grandmother, Mamie Stephens Davis was born in Arkansas. I believe that some, if not all, of her older siblings were born in Georgia. For that reason lacking access at the moment to my records, I’m going to say that they were married in Georgia.
