Biography

Birth

Lucinda Stetson was born in January 1811 at Weymouth, Massachusetts. [1] She was 4th child and the daughter of Jeremiah Stetson and Hannah White [2].

She was Christened, 19 Dec 1824 at Weymouth. [3]

Marriage

Married First (1) William H Barrill (or Burrell), 26 Feb 1833 at Weymouth, Massachusetts. [2][A]

Lucinda (as Lucinda T. Buker) passes away in April 1904, age 94, of Old Age, at Holbrook, Massachusetts. [16] She was buried in the Union Cemetery, in Holbrook, Massachusetts.

A. There is a lot of confusion in the records regarding her marriages, and the names of people involved in these marriages. In the census, Lucinda's 2nd married surname is listed as; Baker, [10][11] Becker, [13] Bockler [12] and Buker [14]. Her Death Certificate gives her married name as "Buker" and her husband's name as "Elijah Buker." [16] The information presented here is, in some cases, "a best guess" as to its accuracy.
