EBENEZER STEVENS, b. at Andover, 1713/4[1] son of Ebenezer Stevens and Sarah Sprague; d. at Andover, 6 Aug 1754;[2] m. at Andover, 2 Apr 1741,[3] his second cousin, JOHANNA FARNUM, b. at Andover, 1712[4] daughter of John and Joanna (Barker) Farnum;[5] Johanna d. at Andover, 27 Dec 1787.[6]
Ebenezer did not leave a will and his estate entered probate 27 January 1755 with widow Joanna as administratrix. Real estate was £451.7.4 and personal estate, £132.2.4. Debts and administrative costs were £225.10.8.[7] On 24 May 1756 (recorded 7 August 1765), Joannah Stevens in her role as administratrix sold to Joshua Foster, innholder, for £34.6 a tract of pasture and woodland containing eight acres.[8]
Johanna Farnum and Ebenezer Stevens were parents of one known child.
