John son of John and Esther Stevenson was christened at Breaston, Derbyshire, on 21 November 1744.^[1][2]

He married Mary Stone in Castle Donington, Leicestershire, on 20 May 1771.^[3]

John Stevenson of Breaston aged 74 was buried at Wilne, Derbyshire, on 10 May 1818.^[4]

Research Notes

It is possible that his wife and family may have been confused with the family of John Stevenson (abt.1745-1806).

Several online trees name his wife as Mary (Lacey) Stevenson (abt.1746-1813). She married a different John Stephenson, from an unrelated family, in Weston on Trent in 1776.
