Helen Louise Stevenson was born at Easton, MA on May 11, 1911. [1] She is the last of two children and the only daughter of Willis Stevenson and Celestia Labossière.
Sadly, her mother developed complications from the birth and died about five weeks later.
Helen Louise's father, Willis married again to Eva Maybee, a Canadian from Picton, Ontario. She was the daughter of Asa Maybee, a dentist and Isabelle Christy. Willis married Eva on June 29, 1912 in Manhattan, New York City. [2]
